In the aftermath of the tragic terrorist attack, the city's hospital expresses their gratitude to all healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, for their dedicated service.

In the aftermath of a distressing incident on Saturday night, City Hospital Solingen has managed to operate smoothly, with all necessary therapeutic measures being initiated promptly for each patient. The hospital's management and supervisory board have promised psychological and organizational support to the deployed employees to help them process the events of that night.

Fortunately, all four patients are out of danger, with three of them already being discharged from the hospital. One patient who was intensively treated until Saturday has been transferred to a peripheral ward, while the patient who was treated most intensively until Sunday has been moved to a peripheral room.

The medical and nursing staff demonstrated focused and highly professional cooperation during the incident, and their efforts were greatly appreciated by the CEOs, Prof. Dr. Martin Eversmeyer and Prof. Dr. Thomas Standl, who thanked the employees for their exceptional service. The employees, in turn, expressed gratitude for the smooth cooperation with the rescue services, particularly the police, who provided protective personnel to secure the hospital following the incident.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Kai Sturmfels, also expressed his gratitude to the staff, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in ensuring the hospital ran smoothly under challenging circumstances. The search results do not provide the name of the patient who was treated most intensively until Sunday and transferred today to a peripheral room.

As a reminder, even professionals in medicine and nursing can be affected by images like those from that Saturday night. The support provided by the hospital is intended to help employees process the events and continue to provide the best possible care for their patients. The hospital remains open and operational, with more than 50 doctors and specialized nursing staff present to care for the severely injured.
