In a grand ceremony held at Mercato Mall on Sunday afternoon, the winners of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) Mega Raffles 2025 were announced. The special event concluded the second dedicated retail season of the Great Dubai Summer Sale (GDSS).
The GDSS offered shoppers a chance to win big through the Shop, Scan and Win promotion. Participants who spent Dh300 or more during the sale were eligible to enter the raffles.
Among the lucky winners, an Indian expat woman, Sajila Saseendran, took home Dh1 million in cash. Hailing from the south Indian state of Kerala, Sweety Stanly also won through the promotion.
From Pakistan, Raj Kumar, a resident of Hyderabad, won a brand-new Nissan Patrol. Another visitor from Hyderabad, Pakistan, was also confirmed as a winner, although their name was not disclosed in the search results.
The mega raffles and the Great Dubai Summer Sale (GDSS) are integral parts of DSS. The winners were honored by senior executives of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the organisation responsible for DSS.
