The final score was 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in favour of Alcaraz. Sinner, who has had an impressive year with a record of 26-1 in majors in 2025, can be proud of his performance. Alcaraz, on the other hand, has now added the US Open title to his growing list of achievements.

Elsewhere at the US Open 2025, Aryna Sabalenka won the Women's Singles title, while Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos won the Men's Doubles title. Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori won the Mixed Doubles title, and Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe won the Women's Doubles title.

The final was scheduled to start at 12:00 AM IST, 30 minutes later than the original time. Notable attendees included Donald Trump, who watched the final from Rolex's suite in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Melania Trump, the US First Lady, was notably absent from the event, making no public statements about the final.
