On Monday afternoon, a traffic accident involving an injured motorcyclist occurred on Bundesstraße 463 near Straßberg. The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old Suzuki rider, veered off the road to the right, hit the guardrail, and fell to the ground. The biker was lightly injured and taken to a clinic by the rescue service.
Later that same day, a bar at Sielminger Rathausplatz in Filderstadt was burglarized in the early morning hours. The extent of property damage and the value of the stolen goods are not yet determinable. The Filderstadt police station has taken up the investigation.
Meanwhile, cable thieves have been active on a construction site in Tailfingen, Albstadt. The perpetrators removed a 50-meter long high-voltage cable and another cable from a power distribution box on the building's rear side. The Albstadt-Tailfingen police post has initiated investigations into the cable theft.
In a separate incident on Tuesday morning, a traffic accident occurred on the Reutlinger Straße in Tübingen, causing approximately €18,000 in damage. The accident involved a 74-year-old driver in a VW Touran and a 22-year-old driver in a Mercedes Sprinter. The VW Touran collided with the Mercedes Sprinter while changing lanes and rolled over into the opposite lane.
The names of the police officers leading the investigations into the burglaries in Reutlingen and Filderstadt are not publicly disclosed. Similarly, the perpetrators of these incidents remain at large.
In another instance of cable theft, two valuable cables worth approximately €1,000 were stolen between Thursday and Monday from a construction site in Tailfingen.
