myAster Expands Across the UAE, Revolutionizing Digital Health and Wellness

myAster, the integrated healthcare superapp by Aster DM Healthcare, has taken a significant step forward in its expansion journey. The platform, which offers doorstep access to a broad spectrum of wellness and beauty products, has extended its pharmacy and wellness delivery services to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah.

This expansion beyond Dubai is made possible by Shop Apotheke, the company that promises 24/7 express delivery of medicine, health supplements, cosmetics, and daily health essentials. The move aims to meet the growing need for convenient and reliable healthcare access closer to home.

Nalla Karunanithy, CEO of Digital Health and E-Commerce at Aster DM Healthcare, commented on the expansion, stating, "We are building a health and wellness ecosystem that revolves around patients."

Since its launch in July 2022, myAster has facilitated over 1 million appointment bookings in FY24, with two-thirds of all physical appointments at Aster made through the app. The platform has already touched more than 2 million lives in the past 3 years, with over 2.8 million downloads.

The expansion includes a wide range of products such as vitamins, nutritional supplements, skincare, mother-and-baby care, and personal essentials. This move is a testament to myAster's commitment to providing comprehensive health and wellness solutions to its users.

The UAE e-pharmacy market, valued at $550 million in 2022/23, is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.2% between 2024 and 2030. Similarly, the UAE digital health market, including e-pharmacy, digital care, and telehealth, was valued at $0.62 billion in 2022/23 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 19.9% to reach $1.84 billion in 2030.

The GCC digital health market, including e-pharmacy, digital care, and telehealth, is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.6% and be valued at $2.7 billion in 2024. This growth trajectory underscores the potential of digital health solutions in the region.

myAster, the first integrated healthcare superapp in the UAE, is evolving from a city-focused service into a nationwide digital health and wellness ecosystem. This expansion marks a significant milestone in myAster's journey and underscores its commitment to making healthcare accessible and convenient for all.
