Indian tech company Cuzor secures 5 crore rupees in funding, debuts 70W GaNSense charger, marking its entry as the first of its kind in India.

In a significant leap for the Indian consumer electronics industry, Bangalore-based startup Cuzor Labs has launched the Cuzor Pulse 70W, a high-performance GaN charger. This new product marks Cuzor's entry into the fast-charging segment of GaN chargers, a space that is rapidly gaining popularity.

The Cuzor Pulse 70W charger delivers up to 70W peak output, making it an ideal choice for power-hungry devices such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, MacBook Air/Pro, and Dell XPS laptops. The charger is compatible with PD 3.0, PPS, QC2.0, and QC3.0 protocols, ensuring wide compatibility with various devices.

Cuzor's new charger is powered by Navitas GaNSense Gen 4 IC, a technology known for its high efficiency and low heat generation. The charger boasts a peak efficiency of 91% and a high power density of 11.97 W/in³, making it a compact yet powerful charging solution.

One of the standout features of the Cuzor Pulse 70W charger is its intelligent dual-port distribution. It allocates up to 25W for smartphones, ensuring fast and efficient charging. Each port also has a dedicated charging status LED, which reflects real-time charging speed with a subtle breathing effect. As a connected device approaches full charge, the LED on the charger transitions to a steady glow.

Cuzor Labs, the company behind Cuzor, aims to compete globally on product merit, features, and quality. Sachin D Naik, Founder and CEO of Cuzor Labs, stated that their goal is to be recognized for their engineered-in-India products. This ambition seems to be shared by Ramesh Kannan, Founder and Managing Director of Kaynes Technology India Limited, who has made his first personal angel investment in Cuzor.

Ramesh Kannan, a stalwart of India's electronics industry, has invested in Cuzor, which is seen as a huge vote of confidence in their vision. Cuzor has already made a name for itself in the accessories segment, leading the Mini UPS category with a 41% market share. Now, with the launch of the Cuzor Pulse 70W, the company is set to make its mark in the GaN charger market as well.

To further boost customer confidence, Cuzor offers a two-year doorstep warranty, a first in the accessories segment. This commitment to quality and customer satisfaction underscores Cuzor's dedication to providing the best possible products to its customers.

The Cuzor Pulse 70W is India's first 70W GaNSense based charger to be fully designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically. This is a significant step towards self-reliance in the electronics industry and a testament to Cuzor's commitment to Made-in-India products.

With the Cuzor Pulse 70W, Cuzor Labs is set to redefine fast charging in India. The company's focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction promises a bright future for this promising startup.
