In a series of developments, German authorities have taken a 40-year-old Kosovar woman into police custody on suspicion of illegally dealing in sedatives in significant quantities and alleged bodily harm.

The events unfolded last week when officers conducted a search at the woman's residence. During the search, they discovered sedatives and related paraphernalia. The woman was found bleeding during the search, prompting an immediate response from medical services. An ambulance was called, and she was taken to the hospital for examination.

Investigations regarding the case are still ongoing, and the cause of the woman's bloody injury could not be determined on the spot. Officers filed a criminal complaint suspecting bodily harm against the woman, but the specific official who submitted the indictment remains undisclosed.

Following her treatment at the hospital, the woman was provisionally arrested and taken into police custody. A remand warrant was issued for the woman by a judge at Duisburg District Court on Sunday, 20th July. The items discovered by officers were secured for further investigation.

Officers also proceeded to the hospital to continue their investigation, but details about their findings there have not been disclosed. The woman's case is currently under active investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
