Assault in Neu-Hohenschönhausen: Two Suspects Arrested and Victim Hospitalized

In an unfortunate turn of events, a 55-year-old man was attacked in a park on Warnitzer Straße, Neu-Hohenschönhausen, around 9 pm last night. The police were called to the scene, and officers from Police District 31 arrived swiftly.

According to reports, the victim was knocked to the ground and sustained injuries to his head and face, including several kicks. During the altercation, the victim managed to bite one of the attackers on the nose. The exact number of bone fractures the victim has suffered is yet to be confirmed by the hospital.

Two suspects, aged 34 and 38, were found and taken into custody for identification purposes. The 38-year-old suspect was subjected to a drawn blood test, and the results are pending. The 34-year-old suspect refused a voluntary breath alcohol test, and no signs of blood were found on this individual. The 38-year-old suspect was also found to have a broken nose after the blood test.

The park where the incident occurred has since increased security measures in response to the attack. The police are questioning witnesses who were present during the attack and are investigating potential motives for the assault.

The hospital is conducting further tests to determine the extent of the victim's injuries. The suspects' backgrounds and any potential links to the victim have not been disclosed at this time.
