Indomobil, Space, and Time Partner for Off-Campus Blockchain Education of 50,000 Students
In an exciting development, global automotive brand Indomobil has partnered with Space and Time, a Microsoft-backed data platform, to bring modern education to the forefront of technology for thousands of students in Indonesia.
Through this partnership, Space and Time's blockchain technology will be leveraged to create a decentralized education initiative, aiming to streamline the process of paying for and verifying education. The program will allow students to directly access modern education and financial systems, eliminating the need for banks, cash handling, and intermediaries. This move is expected to make education more accessible for unbanked families.
Students can use SXT, the native token of Space and Time, to pay for their education courses directly and securely. Once a student completes a course, their proof of course completion will be stored on the SXT Chain, allowing them to verify their education, credentials, and coursework to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
This initiative will also make it easier for students to prove their credentials when applying for jobs or continuing their education. The program aims to launch for 50,000 students in Indonesia, marking a significant step in the adoption of blockchain technology for education in the country.
