The city of Detmold is gearing up for its annual traditional summer fair, known as Bruchmarkt, which will take place from July 18 to 21. The event will be held in the event area of Bruchberg and Rosental.
The fair promises a delightful array of activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a variety of rides, including the Auto-Skooter, Biene Maja, Kindersportkarussell, and more for both children and adults. For those seeking a bit of thrill, there will be ball and arrow throwing, shooting wagon, and other exciting attractions.
Around 40 vendors will showcase a colorful selection of goods such as socks, bags, jewelry, and more. Foodies will be spoiled for choice with stands offering donuts, roasted almonds, crepes, churros, and various food and drink stalls.
The closure of the fair area will extend from Doktorweg to Leopoldstraße, and during this period, the Rosental bus stop will be temporarily relocated to Doktorweg. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected inner-city area and use alternative parking spaces at Lustgarten (P1), Kronenplatz (P7), and Wotanstraße/Parkhaus am Finanzamt (P9). Access to the parking garage of the Lange Str. 73 business building will remain possible via Woldemarstraße.
