Information from Member States regarding the implementation of state-implemented measures has been shared with the Commission.
On the evening of August 28, 2025, several traffic offenses were detected in the cities of Hildesheim and its surrounding areas, as part of mobile traffic checks conducted by the Bad Salzdetfurth police.
In Bockenem, a 21-year-old truck driver was found using a speed camera warning app on his mobile phone at 22:39, committing an administrative offense in "Am Alten Friedhof" street. The available search results do not provide information about a person who was previously affected by a driver's license withdrawal and still drove on the same day. The administrative offense committed by the truck driver is punishable by a fine of at least 75 euros plus processing costs and one point in Flensburg.
Meanwhile, in Bad Salzdetfurth, a woman was found driving despite an existing driving ban. She had to surrender her driver's license due to the ban, which had been imposed a few days earlier. A criminal proceeding was initiated against her.
In a separate incident in Hachumer Straße, a truck with faulty lighting was found. The driver of the truck was wanted for previous traffic offenses by the Essen public prosecutor's office. The residence of the driver was determined, allowing the previous proceedings against him to continue.
Elsewhere, an 18-year-old owner of an electric scooter in the same street was found to be using a vehicle that did not comply with relevant regulations and should not have been used in public traffic. The young owner had insured the scooter with an insurance company but falsely claimed it was registered for road traffic. A criminal proceeding was initiated against the 18-year-old for indirect false certification.
The mobile traffic checks conducted by the Bad Salzdetfurth police on August 28, 2025, resulted in the initiation of several criminal and administrative offense proceedings.
