The Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, the company responsible for maintenance and cleaning operations on autobahns including the A2 in the region, has announced that repairs on the A2 highway near the Bottrop interchange will take place from Friday night to Saturday morning.
Starting at 9 PM on Friday, 1st August, the on-ramp from Kirchhellener Straße, heading towards Hannover, will be closed. This closure will last until 5 AM on Saturday, 2nd August.
Due to the closure, traffic on the A2 from Kirchhellener Straße towards Hannover will be detoured via the Oberhausen junction using a red route. The detour for traffic on the A2 near the Bottrop interchange has been arranged to bypass the closure on the A2 near the Bottrop interchange.
