Inmates Hospitalized: Two Prisoners Require Medical Attention, According to Polish Police Reports

In the early hours of 16.07.2025, a serious traffic accident occurred at the Seligenstadt interchange on Autobahn 45/3 towards Aschaffenburg.

According to a press release from the South East Hesse Police Headquarters, transmitted via news aktuell, the incident occurred around 1:15 AM. The driver of a VW, who was 22 years old, was traveling from Giessen towards Aschaffenburg on the Autobahn. Unfortunately, the driver veered off the road to the right and ended up in a bush.

Upon arrival of the emergency services, it was discovered that both the driver and the 22-year-old passenger sustained injuries. The passenger required CPR.

The lanes in the area were temporarily closed for investigation and work by a called-in expert. The police authority associated with the traffic accident at the Autobahn junction Seligenstadt is the Police Station Seligenstadt, part of the Polizeipräsidium Südosthessen (Police Headquarters Southeast Hesse).

The total damage caused by the accident amounted to approximately 5,000 euros.
