Sparkasse, one of Germany's leading financial institutions, is offering student internships as part of their comprehensive program. These internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to test their training profession in the banking sector.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively via the online portal. Once submitted, they will be contacted by Sparkasse for further steps. It's important to note that applicants should indicate two to three preferred Sparkasse branches for their internship.
During the internship, students can expect to learn about a workday, tasks, people, and interactions. They will have the chance to participate in consultation discussions, and can independently take over simple service tasks. This hands-on experience offers practical insights that can significantly enhance their understanding of the banking industry.

The internships can be done during school time, such as the mandatory school internship for one to two weeks in grade 8, or during vacation times for one week. These voluntary internships are designed to provide students with valuable experiences in preparation for a future career.
Sparkasse is committed to supporting career orientation for students. They also prioritise people with disabilities for internships, provided they are equally qualified. However, it's worth noting that Sparkasse does not offer vacation work.
