12th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament: Emirati Athletes Shine and Dubai Police Lead Volleyball

The 12th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is currently underway and promises to be the largest sporting event of its kind in Dubai. The tournament, which will run for the next nine days, has attracted an elite group of international stars from the world's most prominent clubs.

In the volleyball championship, Dubai Police leads the first group after winning both their matches. The matches from the second group will be held on Thursday. The Community Development Authority, Dubai Municipality, and the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services are among the teams competing in this group, but the current information on the participating teams in Group 2 could not be found in the public sources provided.

The Shooting and Running Championship (Laser Run) concluded on Monday evening, with the winners yet to be announced. In the Obstacle Challenge Championship, Isaiah Thomas and Alisa Petrova, both representing Dubai Police, won the men's and women's competitions respectively. Judy Mahmoud Al Othman, an Emirati, won the title of the youngest competitor in the championship at the age of 11. Thomas completed the obstacle race in 1.57 minutes, while Petrova completed it in 2.40 minutes.
