Intruders Gain Unauthorized Access to University Hospital Cafeteria
Break-in at University Hospital Café: Police Seek Witnesses and Information
In an unprecedented incident, unknown perpetrators broke into a café located in the Neurocenter of the University Hospital Freiburg on Breisacher Street early on August 22, 2025. The intrusion occurred around 5 am, as a security guard disturbed the perpetrators during the commission of the crime.
According to the latest statement from the Police Headquarters Freiburg, which was transmitted via news aktuell, the perpetrators are believed to have been two darkly dressed individuals. One of them made a quick escape on an e-bike, while the other fled on foot. A bicycle with a trailer, loaded with stolen goods, was secured at the scene.
The identities of these two unknown individuals remain unknown at this time.
