The Beijing Auto Show, set to take place in April, is gearing up to reveal some exciting new additions to the MG and Roewe lineups.
Firstly, MG is expected to debut the MG2, a new vehicle that boasts a large air intake to support its 1.6-liter engine. The MG2 will also have a sibling, the Roewe 150, which is likely to be unveiled a couple of months after the MG2.
On the electric front, MG is introducing the MG4 EV, a new electric vehicle not related to the MG3 model. The MG4 EV is expected to make its debut on August 5 and will be the first mass-produced EV with a semi-solid state battery, promising improved performance and longevity. With a power output of 163hp and a range of 537km, the MG4 EV is set to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market.
The MG4 EV also features the Oppo smart cockpit, offering a seamless and intuitive driving experience. Its revised cabin design, officially revealed recently, promises a comfortable and modern driving environment.
While the front design of the MG2 has been praised for its aesthetic appeal, reminiscent of a sporty Buick steering wheel, a distinctive red button on the passenger-side dash has sparked curiosity. However, it has not been confirmed whether this button is a nitro button or serves some other purpose.
Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about the person representing MG2 at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
Interestingly, an image of the MG4 EV's interior has been leaked, revealing a sporty layout that is expected to be a hit with electric vehicle enthusiasts. The Roewe car, while not yet officially unveiled, is expected to follow a similar design philosophy.
Stay tuned for more updates from the Beijing Auto Show as we bring you the latest news on these exciting new additions to the MG and Roewe lineups.
