Investigation of Burglars at Weiherhaus: Criminal police seek evidence

In an unexpected turn of events, a burglary occurred in the Weiherhaus district of Nuremberg, Germany, on Monday, August 18, 2025. The incident unfolded at a property on Schwedengraben Street, leaving authorities scrambling for clues.

The police were alerted to the incident by a resident, who reported the break-in at around 3:15 in the morning. Upon arrival, officers initiated an immediate search of the premises, supported by a helicopter from the Bavarian Police. Despite the thorough search, the suspects were not found.

The burglars are believed to be two men, approximately 180 cm tall with slim builds, who were wearing black hoodies among other clothing. They managed to flee through the terrace door after being discovered. The Criminal Police have secured evidence at the scene, and the investigation is currently ongoing.

Suspicious activities in the area of Schwedengraben Street or nearby streets are also of interest to the authorities. It is suspected that the burglars stole several watches in the incident.
