Waltz Secures New Line of Credit for U.S. Mortgage Loans for Foreign Buyers

Waltz, a leading digital platform for U.S. residential real estate financing, has secured a new line of credit from Setpoint Capital. This credit will be utilised to originate additional U.S. mortgage loans for foreign buyers, expanding Waltz's operations across four continents.

Since its launch in July 2024, Waltz has processed over $300 million in loan applications. The platform, which enables foreign investors to quickly and easily form an LLC, open a U.S. bank account, exchange currencies, secure financing, and close on property purchases, has seen strong demand from Latin America during times of global economic uncertainty.

According to Yuval Golan, Founder and CEO of Waltz, the demand for U.S. real estate investments from Latin America has been immediate. Golan believes that U.S. real estate is a blue chip investment for foreign nationals due to the stability of the U.S. economy, which facilitates wealth creation, passive income streams, and property value appreciation.

The new funding round, amounting to $25 million, will further support Waltz's ability to fund up to $1 billion in loan volume. Kendall Ranjbaran, Managing Director of Investments at Setpoint Capital, expressed pride in Waltz's full-service approach and its ability to make U.S. real estate investments easier for individuals across the globe.

Waltz's expansion into Latin America is expected to support its official launch across the region, with a continued focus on countries like Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. The company has already transacted with the nation's largest brokerages like RE/MAX and eXp Realty, and is spearheading industry disruption with its technology enhanced by AI.

The digital solutions offered by Waltz are resonating with global investors, as they streamline investment opportunities for income-producing residential properties in the U.S. This new line of credit, provided by affiliates of Setpoint Capital, will be used by Waltz to originate additional U.S. mortgage loans for foreign buyers through its fully digital platform.

As Waltz continues to scale, it is poised to revolutionise the U.S. residential real estate financing industry for foreign national investors. With its advanced technologies and capabilities, such as foreign exchange and quick cross-border transfers, the company is set to make a significant impact in the LATAM market.
