Jake Paul taunts Gervonta Davis, as his competition engages in sparring sessions with a looming heavyweight contender for their upcoming fight

Jake Paul, the social media sensation turned professional boxer, and Gervonta Davis, one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, are set to face each other in an exhibition match on November 14 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The bout between the two will operate under a catchweight limit, with Paul required to make 195lbs for the fight. Davis, the current WBA lightweight champion, has been preparing for the match by sparring with much larger opponents, including heavyweight boxers, due to his lack of experience in that weight class.

The weight differences for the Paul vs Davis fight have led many to speculate that the match will be an exhibition, with the rules yet to be shared. This is not uncommon for Paul, who weighed in at 227lbs when he fought Mike Tyson in 2021.

Despite the size difference, Paul has expressed confidence in his ability to overcome Davis, citing his notable size advantage as a potential advantage. In a recent social media post, Paul shared a photo of Davis' sparring partner towering over him, adding a comment implying that Davis should find a more suitable opponent.

Paul included Davis on his hit-list back in 2021, and the two have been trading barbs on social media ever since. Most recently, Paul referred to Davis as having "cankles" in a comment on a photo of Davis sparring.

Eddie Hearn, a prominent figure in the boxing world, has referred to the Paul vs Davis match-up as a 'freak show.' However, both fighters have been training hard for the bout, which will consist of 10 three-minute rounds.

The fight between Paul and Davis is sure to be a spectacle, with both fighters bringing their unique styles and personalities to the ring. Fans can expect an exciting showdown on November 14.
