Jason Isaacs discloses his children's astonishing response upon hearing about his Emmy nomination
Jason Isaacs Embraces Challenges in 'The White Lotus' and Shares His Unconventional Family Life
Actor Jason Isaacs has been making waves in the television industry with his Emmy-nominated performance in the third season of The White Lotus. In a recent interview, Isaacs opened up about his experience playing the role and his unique relationship with his daughters.
Isaacs shared that playing the character in The White Lotus allowed him to stretch his acting muscles and face new challenges. He mentioned that he felt like he won an award just by getting the part. The Emmy nomination was a cherished bonus, but it seems his daughters were not even mildly impressed.
Despite their lack of interest in his acting career, Isaacs expressed that it was flattering and lovely to receive the Emmy nod. He stated that his daughters should care about their parents, not his work.
While Isaacs was in Dublin during the interview, his daughters were in Montreal. He shared that he often goes out of his way to support them, such as putting up their shelves, hanging pictures, installing blinds, taking them shopping, and getting furniture for their apartment.
Isaacs shares two daughters with his wife, Emma Hewitt. His daughters are Lola Iolani Momoa and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, the children of Jason Momoa, who also received an Emmy nomination this year.
In The White Lotus, Isaacs portrayed a complex character that took him to places he doesn't normally go in his acting career. He praised the creator of the show, Mike White, for creating three-dimensional characters that push actors to their limits.
Despite the challenges and accolades, Isaacs remains humble and grounded, focusing on his family and the joy of acting.
