Junior golfer Charlie Woods sinks hole-in-one in a tumultuous final round at the Junior Players Championship

In the final round of the 2025 Junior Players Championship, Charlie Woods, son of golfing legend Tiger Woods, made a memorable hole-in-one at the third hole. The young player shared the exciting moment with a crowd that gathered around the green, as his ball was seen tracking towards the pin.

Woods' hole-in-one was a highlight of an otherwise challenging tournament for him. He started the day seven-over through 36 holes, leaving him just outside the top-30 in the 78-player field. Despite this, Woods managed to navigate the notorious island-green 17th via a par during the final round.

The excitement levels during Woods' hole-in-one were more modest compared to his previous one at the PNC Championship last year, which he shared with his father. However, the moment was still celebrated by his playing partners, who congratulated him after the shot.

The video of the hole-in-one shows Woods repairing his pitch mark near the hole after the shot, before collecting his golf ball and waving to the crowd. Unfortunately, Woods gave two strokes back at TPC Sawgrass' very next hole after his hole-in-one, bringing his final score for the tournament to a 72.

Remarkably, The Netherlands' Guus Lafeber also recorded a hole-in-one during the final round of the Junior Players Championship. Lafeber's hole-in-one was part of his closing 70 which was populated by four birdies and four bogeys otherwise. The young Dutch player finished his week on four-over, which left him hovering around the top-25.

There was no publicly available information indicating another player who scored a hole-in-one in the final of the Junior Players Championship 2025, besides Woods and Lafeber. Miles Russell was the leader during the final round of the tournament.

The hole-in-one by Charlie Woods was likely captured on video by a fan, adding to the excitement of the moment. Despite not performing as well as he hoped overall, Woods took an awesome memory away from the 2025 Junior Players championship.
