EMERCOM Russia Far Eastern Table Tennis Competitions: Mikhail Gutz and Grigory Grulyev Take Top Spots

The Far Eastern table tennis competitions, organised among the Main Directorates of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, saw Mikhail Gutz and Grigory Grulyev emerge victorious in their respective age categories.

A total of 20 athletes from 10 teams participated in the competitions, which included both individual and team events. The participants were divided into two age categories: under 40 and over 41.

In the under 40 age category, Mikhail Gutz, a resident of Kamchatka Krai, clinched the top spot. Sergei Sazonov from the GU EMERCOM of Russia in Amur Oblast finished in the second place, while Dmitriy Dolgikh from the GU EMERCOM of Russia in Magadan Oblast placed third.

On the other hand, the over 40 age category was won by Grigory Grulyev from the GU EMERCOM of Russia in Primorsky Krai. Bato Badmaev from the GU EMERCOM of Russia in Zabaykalsky Krai finished in the second place, and Afanasy Neustoev from the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Sakha, Yakutia placed third.

Notably, no athlete won multiple places in the same age category, and the individual competitions were won by different athletes from different regions in both age categories.

The competitions, held in Magadan, marked a successful event for the EMERCOM Russia athletes in the Far Eastern Federal District, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
