Kate Gosselin, in light of her disclosure about resuming her nursing profession due to distressing financial issues, has responded to her son Collin's recent assertions concerning her parenting style.

In a recent viral TikTok video, Collin Gosselin, one of the sextuplets from the former hit show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," opened up about his estranged relationship with his siblings. Collin claimed that his mother, Kate Gosselin, drove a "social barrier" between him and his siblings.

This isn't the first time such claims have been made. Collin's ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, previously alleged that Collin was "caged" at Fairmount, a facility for children with psychiatric and behavioral problems, and called Kate "abusive." Kate, however, has denied any claims of abuse. She has stated that she has been "investigated many times," but the claims were "always unfounded."

Kate Gosselin, a pediatric nurse, contacted Child Protective Services (CPS) in 2016 and sent Collin to the Fairmount Behavioral Health Institute. In response to Collin's TikTok, Kate wrote, "He knows why," alongside a sad emoji, on one of her posts.

The situation has taken a toll on Kate's finances. She recently revealed her struggles with providing for her children and court-related costs, mentioning that her children's college funds and retirement savings have been affected.

It's important to note that child abuse is a serious matter. If you have concerns about child abuse, you can contact the National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453.

Collin, now an adult, has recently claimed that Kate repeatedly took out her "anger and frustration" on him. This latest development in the Gosselin family saga serves as a reminder of the complexities that can arise in even the most public of families.
