Krasnodar's public transportation system undergoes modifications due to congested traffic.
In the city of Krasnodar, residents are experiencing a series of changes due to various incidents.
Firstly, Tram No. 2 is currently operating on a revised route, running from Dekabristov Street to Krasnodar 1 Train Station and back to Dekabristov Street. Similarly, Tram No. 4 is operating on a revised route, serving the areas from KMR to Kolkhoznaya Street, 40 Years of Victory, and back to KMR.
The traffic disruptions in the city are not limited to trams. Industrial Street and Zakharova Street are closed due to traffic restrictions, and the closure of Yablonovsky Bridge, which occurred on August 30th, has also led to additional traffic restrictions. Traffic on the Yablonovsky Bridge was closed due to an incident at the oil refinery.
Speaking of the oil refinery, a fire broke out at the Krasnodar Oil Refinery, covering an area of 300 sq. m. Firefighting and emergency services are on the scene, and preliminary reports indicate no casualties. However, one person was injured as a result of drone attacks, a resident of the Yablonovsky settlement. It should be noted that no credible sources have identified who carried out the drone attack on the Krasnodar oil refinery on the night of August 30.
On a positive note, trolleybus service was restored at 7:20, and Trolleybus No. 10 is running on a revised route from the "Aurora" cinema through the Orenzhereynaya and Oktyabrskaya stops and returning to "Aurora". Additionally, bus No. 9 is operating on a revised route: "Balneo-Sanatorium" - Krasina Street - Orenzhereynaya - Oktyabrskaya - "Balneo-Sanatorium".
Tram service was also restored at 7:08. The city transportation department is working diligently to ensure smooth operations despite the ongoing challenges. As always, residents are advised to check the latest updates and plan their journeys accordingly.
