Helene Kuchta, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in politics, defence, and international affairs, has joined the Lufthansa Group as Senior Advisor for Strategic Defense and NATO Affairs.
Kuchta's career trajectory is impressive, having previously served as a Senior Advisor for NATO and Security Policy at the German Federal Ministry of Defence. Prior to this, she worked at the German Bundestag, further enhancing her political acumen.
In her new role at the Lufthansa Group, Kuchta reports to Maximilian Kiewel. Before joining Lufthansa, she served as Director at Hensoldt, where she was responsible for material support for Ukrainian forces and cooperation with partners in Central and Eastern Europe.
At Hensoldt, Kuchta's work extended beyond Germany, as she collaborated with partners in Central and Eastern Europe. She also worked at BwConsulting, the in-house consulting firm of the Federal Ministry of Defense.
Kuchta's commitment to international security is evident in her membership of the Extended Board of Women in International Security Germany. This organisation aims to empower women in the field of international security and promote gender equality in decision-making processes.
