Landholdings along four major roads in Indore to receive TDR Certificates for approval of their property developments

Landholding certificates designated as TDR will be distributed to property owners along the city's four principal roads in Indore.

In a significant development for the Smart City project in Indore, the municipal commissioner, Shivam Verma, announced that landholders along four major roads will receive Transferable Development Rights (TDR) certificates.

The four major city roads identified for the TDR process are Mhow Naka to Tori Corner, Vyasa Bridge to Jinsi, Bada Ganpati to Rajmohalla, and Sarwate Bus Stand to Gangwal Bus Stand. These certificates are part of an initiative by Verma, aimed at facilitating the development of the identified stretches of land along these roads.

The TDR certificates are being issued under the rules and regulations set for the process. Landholders have been instructed to submit the required documents at their respective zonal offices for the TDR certification process. Officials have been directed to promptly collect these documents, upload them on the portal, and ensure time-bound issuance of certificates.

The special online portal for the issuance of TDR certificates was launched by the Chief Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav. This digital platform will streamline the process, making it simple and hassle-free for landholders.

Emphasizing transparency, Verma stated that the process should remain straightforward for landholders. The urban development and housing minister, Kailash Vijayvargiya, and the mayor, Pushyamitra Bhargav, are also involved in the initiative for the TDR certificates.

The TDR certificates are being issued as part of the Smart City project in Indore. The city commissioners appointed to organize the allocation of positions and the issuance of TDR certificates for landowners on the city's four main roads were not specified in available information.

Stretches of land along these four major roads in Indore have been identified for the TDR process. The TDR certificates will be provided to these landholders on these roads. The TDR certification process will be carried out as per rules.

The announcement was made during a review meeting at the Smart City office, attended by various officials including Rohit Sisonia, zonal officers, building officers, assistant revenue officer, sub-engineer, and other departmental officials. This move is expected to further boost the Smart City project in Indore, promoting sustainable and efficient urban development.
