The popular video game franchise, 'Tomb Raider', is set to return to our screens with a new live-action series, set to premiere on Prime Video. The production is scheduled to begin on January 19, 2026.
Sophie Turner, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones', has been confirmed to play the iconic character, Lara Croft. Turner entered negotiations for the role last November and her casting was officially announced six months later in November 2024.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator, writer, and executive producer of the series, expressed her excitement about working on the show.
