Latest Update on Significant Credit Cards in 2024: Novelties and Enhancements Outlined
In the ever-evolving world of credit cards, several notable changes and new offerings have been introduced recently. Here's a roundup of some of the most significant updates across various popular cards.
American Express has made adjustments to its Gold Card, although specific details about the changes have not been disclosed.
Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card has been enhanced with up to $240 annual Resy credit, up to $120 annual ride-sharing credit, up to $200 Delta Stays credit, and a $2,500 MQD Boost. The Delta SkyMiles Platinum American Express Card, on the other hand, now offers up to $120 annual Resy credit, up to $120 annual ride-sharing credit, up to $150 Delta Stays credit, expanded Companion Certificate destinations, and a $2,500 Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQD) Boost.
Wells Fargo has joined the fray with the introduction of the "Wells Fargo Active Cash Card" credit card, which comes with an annual fee of 95 euros. The Wells Fargo Autograph Journey card, launched this spring, offers competitive earning rates for travel and dining, with 5x unlimited points on hotels, 4x unlimited points on airfare, 3x points on other travel purchases and dining, and 1x points on all other purchases.
Chase has made a significant change to its trip cancellation and interruption coverage, requiring full payment with an eligible Chase card or redemption of Chase Ultimate Rewards points for the entire amount.
