Law enforcement apprehended two individuals accused of public lewdness
A 33-year-old man was apprehended by the federal police in Hanau, Germany, on Friday afternoon, following reports of indecent exposure in the city centre.
According to the South East Hessian Police Directorate, the suspect was under scrutiny due to suspicious behaviour in the city centre. A witness observed the man around 3:50 PM near the Canal Gate Square, where he allegedly stopped at regular intervals, pulled down his pants, and manipulated his genital area.
The arrest was preceded by a tip from a witness, and the Hanau police station took the arrested man to their station for identification procedures. Photographs and a DNA sample were collected from the man.
