Law enforcement conducted a post-terrorism debriefing
In the aftermath of the tragic terrorist attack on August 23, the Criminal Investigation Department of Criminal Prevention and Victim Protection of the Police in Solingen hosted an information event on victim care. The event, which took place at the VHS premises in Mummstraße, saw over 80 victims and witnesses in attendance.
The event was a response to the high demand for victim protection measures following the attack. During the event, victims had the opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns. Information was provided on victim protection measures, support services, psychosocial services, legal procedures, and other forms of assistance. The name of the person who participated as the state victim protection officer of North Rhine-Westphalia was not publicly disclosed.
