Law enforcement is seeking information following a series of break-ins
In the recent days, two residential properties in the cities of Recklinghausen and Haltern am See have been targeted by unknown perpetrators.
In Recklinghausen, the burglary occurred between 08:10 AM and 11:00 AM on Jasminweg. The intruders gained entry by forcing open a kitchen window that was out of its anchorage. Despite attempting to breach a terrace door equipped with a mushroom-head lock, they were unsuccessful. The perpetrators ransacked all rooms in the house, but it is presumed they were unsuccessful in finding any loot.

Meanwhile, in Haltern am See, the burglary took place between 10:35 AM and 11:15 AM on "Im Wienäckern" street. The perpetrators forced open the garden gate and the living room window before fleeing with jewelry through the terrace door and out through the garden in an unknown direction. The police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and call the same number, 0800/2361 111.
The cities of Recklinghausen and Haltern am See fall under the Recklinghausen Police Directorate, which is currently investigating these two attacks on residential houses.
