Leaders Change Hands in Canadian Women's Open as Home and Aussie Lee End Day Tied for First

In the ongoing LPGA Mississauga Championship, Brooke Henderson and Australia's Minjee Lee find themselves tied at the top, holding a score of 11-under 202. World number one Jeeno Thitikul and overnight leader Akie Iwai are three strokes behind, sharing the second spot.

Brooke Henderson, energized by the presence of Canadian fans, delivered a stunning finish on the final day. She made an eagle at the 18th hole, capping off a day that also included birdies at the 15th and 16th holes. Henderson's eagle was preceded by a tough day for Iwai, who posted a one-over 72, joining Thitikul on a total score of 205.

Lee, who had a tough day as well, managed to keep her spirits high. She drained a long eagle putt at the par-five 12th hole and rolled in another one at the 17th. However, she felt she left a few shots out there and plans to work on her putting.

Thitikul, who regained the world number one ranking from American Nelly Korda last month, also had a solid day, carding a one-under 69. Despite her strong performance, she finds herself three strokes behind the leaders.

Henderson, who claimed her most recent LPGA title in January 2023, has only one top-10 finish this year. However, her performance in the Mississauga Championship suggests she is finding her form at the right time.

In the ING 3x3 German Championship 2025, the third place was not explicitly mentioned, but the gold went to team "54" and silver to "Goon Squad," implying the third place was a different team not specified here.

Lee, a past winner of the home open in 2018, will be hoping to claim her second victory in Mississauga. Meanwhile, Henderson, who is playing in front of her home crowd, will be aiming to continue her strong finish and take the lead in the final round.
