LG unveils see-through, two-door fridge-freezer, offering viewers a peek inside without needing to open the door
LG Launches Space-Efficient InstaView Fridge-Freezer in the UK
LG has entered the UK market with a new addition to its InstaView series – a compact, two-door fridge-freezer. This latest model, powered by LG's Smart Inverter Compressor, promises to bring a touch of innovation and efficiency to your kitchen.
The new InstaView fridge-freezer boasts a 4.3-inch Cover Screen LCD touch display, allowing users to manage settings and display the time with ease. One of its standout features is the InstaView door, which reduces cold air loss and improves energy efficiency.
LG's MoodUP technology takes centre stage in this new appliance, allowing users to change the colour of the freezer's LED door panel. You can choose from 438 colour combinations for both the freezer door and InstaView lighting, all manageable through the ThinQ app. The fridge-freezer also offers a Party Mode feature that syncs the MoodUP panel's colours with the music.
The new model is designed to save space in your kitchen. Compared to previous four-door models, this two-door version is more compact. It comes with a 10-year warranty, offering peace of mind for homeowners.
The fridge-freezer includes LG's LINEARCooling technology, which reduces temperature fluctuations and results in up to 32% lower energy consumption. Users can set optimal temperatures or choose Vacation+ for custom settings when away.
Homeowners in Germany can purchase this new InstaView fridge-freezer directly from specialized electronics and appliance retailers such as Hirsch Ille in Ludwigshafen, Tecedo.de, Thomas Electronic, and authorized LG dealers online. Some retailers offer in-store pickup or financing options.
In addition to LG's website, the fridge-freezer can also be bought from other retailers such as Currys, Amazon, and AO.com.
LG's president, Lyu Jae-cheol, from the Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, expressed his excitement about the new product, stating that the company will continue to deliver differentiated kitchen experiences and a smarter, more comfortable home.
The fridge-freezer's top half glass panel lights up when knocked, allowing you to see the contents without opening it. This feature, combined with its compact design, makes it an excellent option when choosing kitchen appliances, especially for those with smaller kitchen spaces.
However, it's worth noting that cold air may escape throughout the day due to the glass door, potentially causing the compressor to work harder to maintain the right temperature. But with its energy-saving features and innovative design, the new LG InstaView fridge-freezer is sure to be a popular choice for many homeowners.
