The Krymsk Central Children's Library named after A.A. Likhov has undergone a significant transformation, becoming a modern, accessible, and welcoming space for all, including children with disabilities. This renovation is part of the national project "Family" and the "Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure" program.

The library's modernization was made possible with more than 5.8 million rubles from the consolidated budget. As part of the modernization, new sofas, chairs, bookcases, game tables, an interactive sandbox, and computers were purchased. Repairs to communications were also carried out to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

This marks the 16th library in Krasnodar Krai to be modernized according to contemporary standards. The library's collection now comprises over 32,000 books, catering to the reading needs of its more than 3,300 registered readers who visit more than 34,000 times a year.

The library's renovation was noted by Minister of Culture Victoria Lapina, who expressed her delight at the modernization. She considered it a big celebration, especially knowing that children will now be able to visit a library updated to modern standards.

In fact, Minister Lapina used to visit the library herself and is pleased to see its progress. She was also pleased to note that the library opened ahead of schedule, allowing the community to enjoy its new facilities sooner than expected.

The creation of model libraries in the region is being carried out as part of the national project. The modernization of the library in Krymsk, Krasnodar Krai, is a testament to the commitment to improving cultural infrastructure and providing quality facilities for the community.
