Liverpool's latest sensation, Rio Ngumoha, made history on Saturday as he scored the youngest goal in the club's Premier League history during a thrilling 3-3 draw against Newcastle at St. James' Park.

The match, dubbed the 'Alexander Isak derby', was a highly contested affair, with Liverpool squandering a 2-0 lead before Ngumoha's heroic intervention. The 16-year-old came off the bench to score the winning goal, making his second senior appearance for the Reds a memorable one.

Ngumoha's goal, scored in injury time, not only sealed a vital point for Liverpool but also broke the previous record held by Ben Woodburn, who was 17 years, one month, and 14 days old when he scored for Liverpool. Ngumoha, at 16 years and 361 days, is now the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool's history.

The opener for Liverpool came from Ryan Gravenberch, who scored an excellent goal from outside the area. Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai played a part in setting up Ngumoha's historic goal.

Liverpool have maintained a 100% record this season, joining Premier League leaders Arsenal and Tottenham. However, their defensive issues have cropped up once again, leaving it late for a second match in a row. Anthony Gordon was shown a straight red card by referee Simon Hooper, adding to Liverpool's troubles.

For Newcastle, Bruno Guimaraes scored a header to restore hope for the team, while William Osula scored the equalizing goal on 88 minutes. Hugo Ekitike also scored for Liverpool in the second half.

The match marked the Premier League debut for Ngumoha, who made a significant impact in his brief appearance. Rio Ngumoha is the second 16-year-old player in Premier League history to score a winning goal, a testament to his promising talent.

This dramatic draw against Newcastle means Liverpool have dropped points for the second consecutive match, raising questions about their title ambitions this season. Nevertheless, the emergence of young talent like Ngumoha offers a glimmer of hope for the Reds' future.
