Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand, following his election as the 32nd premier of the kingdom. Wong highlighted the close and longstanding friendship between Singapore and Thailand, emphasizing strong defense cooperation, economic ties, and personal connections between their peoples.

In a similar vein, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also congratulated Prime Minister Anutin, expressing his support for strong cooperation between the two countries within ASEAN. Anwar Ibrahim emphasized Thailand's crucial role in ASEAN, stating that Prime Minister Anutin's leadership will be essential as Thailand moves into the next stage of its democratic journey. He looked forward to continuing close cooperation with Thailand, focusing on developing the shared border, advancing trade, and promoting the welfare of both nations' peoples.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet also praised Mr. Anutin's leadership, stressing the importance of building cordial ties and good cooperation between their two nations. Hun Manet expressed his belief that under Mr. Anutin's leadership, the Kingdom of Thailand will achieve greater progress.

The shared aspiration of neighboring nations is to work together for mutual development, stability, and prosperity. Hun Manet emphasized the importance of restoring mutual trust and transforming the shared border into one of peace, cooperation, development, and shared prosperity.

The messages from neighboring nations underscored the importance of continued collaboration and regional harmony. In addition to the leaders mentioned above, numerous other Southeast Asian leaders have extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Anutin.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has been elected as the 32nd premier of Thailand, marking a significant milestone in the country's democratic journey.
