Locksley Resources Limited has entered into a contract with GreenMet to facilitate and enhance governmental collaboration in the United States.

In a significant development for the critical minerals sector, Locksley Resources Limited, an ASX-listed explorer focused on critical minerals in the United States, has announced promising findings at the Mojave Project in California.

The Mojave Project, comprising over 240 claims across two contiguous prospect areas - North Block-Northeast Block and El Campo Prospect - has revealed one of the highest-grade known antimony occurrences in the U.S. Surface samples from the Desert Mine prospect within the Mojave Project grade up to 46% Sb and 1,022 g/t Ag.

This discovery comes at a time when geopolitical urgency to diversify supply chains away from China, the global leader in both REE and antimony production, is on the rise. Despite the United States currently having no domestic antimony production, demand for the metal remains high due to its essential role in defense systems, semiconductors, and metal alloys.

The historic "Desert Antimony Mine" located within the Mojave Project last operated in 1937. The news of Locksley Resources' discovery was provided by ABN Newswire via QuoteMedia. However, the previous owners of the Desert Antimony Mine before Locksley Resources Limited acquired it are yet to be disclosed.

Interested parties can contact Nathan Lude, the contact for Locksley Resources Limited, at +61 8 9481 0389 for more information. The company is actively advancing exploration across the Mojave Project and plans a maiden drilling program at the Mojave Project.

Notably, the North Block directly abuts claims held by MP Materials, while El Campo lies along strike of the Mountain Pass Mine, further emphasising the strategic location of the Mojave Project.

As Locksley Resources continues to explore and develop the Mojave Project, the company is poised to play a crucial role in bolstering domestic antimony production and reducing reliance on foreign sources. The potential impact of this discovery could be far-reaching, particularly in the context of global supply chain diversification efforts.
