London's Hottest Fresh Wine Bar Evokes Summertime Yearnings - Each Spoonful (and Swig) Truly Delights

The Dreamery Opens Its Doors in North London

In the heart of North London, a vibrant new destination has emerged, inviting guests to embrace a sense of fun and potentially discard caution. The Dreamery, an artisanal ice cream parlor and wine bar, can be found at 20a Halliford Street, London, United Kingdom N1 3HD.

Co-founded by Alex Young and George de Vos, the creators behind local favourites Goodbye Horses and Day Trip, The Dreamery was inaugurated in early December 2024. The interiors, designed by the multidisciplinary team Ltd Ltd in collaboration with Studio Bates Rai, and further refined by P&P Studio for The Dreamery-Bar, feature a rainbow-hued atmosphere, mirrored walls, chrome metallic accents, and hand-crafted pale pink and blue cement tiles.

The Dreamery is more than just an ice cream parlor and wine bar; it's a place designed to escape the mundane and spark joy, create new memories, and remind guests to embrace life's little pleasures. The interiors, which reflect some of today's most prominent design trends, such as the 70s dinner party revival, break free from everyday conventions, creating an Alice in Wonderland-like, fascinating fantasy world.

Artist Lucy Stein's craft graces the timber- and Japanese Unryu rice paper-paneled ceiling, adding a touch of whimsy and elegance. The design also incorporates Art Deco nods, including stunning 'crowned' glass sconces.

But The Dreamery is not just about aesthetics. It embodies the concept of "playfulism" as described in the website's Issue Summer 24. The Dreamery offers a shop with various items priced at $84.30 (Metal), $19.99 (Stainless Steel), and $175.00 (Nickel-Plated Copper).

Located minutes away from The Dreamery, guests can also visit Goodbye Horses and Day Trip, two other establishments by the same co-founders. The Dreamery is here to lift spirits, create a sense of otherworldliness, and provide comfort - a welcome addition to the North London culinary scene.
