L'Oréal Romania welcomes Ioanna Christopoulou as their new country manager.
Ioanna Christopoulou, a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of experience within the L'Oréal Group, has been appointed as the Country General Manager of L'Oréal Romania, effective from September 1, 2025.
Christopoulou's career with L'Oréal has seen her lead divisions in various markets, including the Nordic Countries, Greece, the Middle East, and Western Europe. Her extensive experience has been instrumental in her rise through the ranks.
In the Nordic Countries, Christopoulou coordinated four markets, leading the Consumer Products division. Her leadership roles in the region played a significant part in her extensive career within the L'Oréal Group. One of her notable achievements was the coordination of the Garnier brand and Next New Brands at a European level.
Prior to her appointment in Romania, Christopoulou repositioned the business as the General Manager of L'Oréal Greece's Consumer Products Division, achieving notable increases in market share and profitability. In the Middle East, she consolidated operations, further demonstrating her strategic acumen.
Christopoulou's predecessor within the L'Oréal Group as Country General Manager of L'Oréal Romania was Vanya Panayotova.
As Christopoulou takes on her new role, she brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. Her appointment is expected to strengthen L'Oréal Romania's position in the competitive beauty industry.
