The Lübeck City Library is set to participate in the first nationwide "Night of Libraries" event on April 4, 2025. This exciting evening promises a variety of activities for all ages, with a comprehensive programme available at www.luebeck.de/stadtbibliothek.

From 3:00 PM, visitors can explore the library, participate in workshops, and enjoy various activities. Highlights include tours of historic halls and the music library, a behind-the-scenes look at the book lending system, and a creative origami workshop, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Creative workshops such as bookmark making, dip-dye candle design, button machine usage, Seedball Workshop, and more are also available. For tech enthusiasts, a Maker Space equipped with a VR headset, 3D printer, and an interactive photo wall will be open.

The Open Channel Lübeck offers hourly podcast workshops, and quiz enthusiasts can participate in the library's first-ever Pub Quiz starting at 6:30 PM. The Mantelssaal invites visitors to a board game evening, while a board game and puzzle exchange can be found in the foyer.
