Luxurious Safety Vehicle for Upcoming Bathurst Race Unveiled by Mercedes

In the world of motorsport, the upcoming Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour race at the Mountain is generating a lot of excitement. One of the teams that will be vying for victory is Erebus Motorsport, who have announced their continued partnership with Mercedes-Benz.

Erebus Motorsport has been a staple in the Australian GT (AGT) championship, and for the 2016 season, they will be using the iconic Gull-winged SLS. This isn't the first time Erebus Motorsport has competed with Mercedes-Benz in the AGT championship; they have been a formidable force in the series for some time.

However, this year, they will be leaving their Mercedes-AMG E Class racers behind in the V8 Supercar championship for their 2016 campaign. Instead, they will focus their efforts on the AGT championship with the SLS AMG GT3.

The team's commitment to the AGT championship is further solidified by the recent purchase of a new AMG GT3 by Scott Taylor, the owner of the racing team. Taylor is no stranger to success, having finished 2nd in the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hour race with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 as part of the Scott Taylor Motorsport Team.

The 2016 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour race will take place from February 4-7, and it's not just Mercedes-Benz that will be competing. Other marques such as McLaren, Audi, and Nissan, among others, will also be vying for the coveted title.

With the combination of Erebus Motorsport's expertise and Scott Taylor's proven track record, Mercedes-Benz is certainly a team to watch in the 2016 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour race. The competition is fierce, but with determination and skill, anything is possible.
