Luxury collab brings expensive diamond headphones: Priced at an astronomical €100,000, Loewe and Jacob & Co unveil their high-end, diamond-adorned audio devices
In a groundbreaking collaboration, traditional German company Loewe and luxury jewellery brand Jacob & Co. have created a pair of headphones that are more works of art than gadgets. The "Ice Diamond" and "Noir Rainbow" models, described as sculptural one-of-a-kind pieces, are timeless in spirit and masterful in detail.
Each ear cup of these headphones houses a 50-mm high-performance driver, optimised for high-resolution sound and Dolby Atmos compatibility. The headphones also boast adaptive noise cancellation, adjusting in real-time to the environment, ensuring an immersive audio experience.
The headphones are powered by a Texas Instruments amplifier and feature an intelligent voice assistant named "Leo". Leo takes commands and instantly translates spoken language, making these headphones a versatile tool for modern living.
Loewe, known for combining German engineering with design since 1923, and Jacob & Co. view this project as a new form of luxury experience, where craftsmanship and technology merge. The "Ice Diamond" model, adorned with 456 brilliant-cut stones that scatter light like a sparkling ice crown, is set with a 42.5-gram 14-karat white gold ring, set with 12.47 karats of diamonds. On the other hand, the "Noir Rainbow" model features a 14-karat rose gold ring set with 15.97 karats of multicoloured gemstones.
The "Noir Rainbow" model is priced at 99,000 euros, while the "Ice Diamond" is available for 119,000 euros. Both models offer up to 65 hours of battery life and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, including AAC, LC3, LC3+, and SBC.
Loewe has announced further, equally extraordinary products in collaboration with Jacob & Co., marking the beginning of a new era for Loewe. The purchase of these headphones is only given upon request from Loewe.
