New High-End Defender Models Unveiled by Land Rover Classic and Works Bespoke

Land Rover Classic and Works Bespoke have recently introduced a range of luxurious and powerful Defender models, catering to the growing demand for premium off-road vehicles.

The Land Rover Defender Churchill Edition, a new creation from Land Rover Classic Works, is priced at £279,000. This modern recreation of the Series I, gifted to Sir Winston Churchill, offers a unique blend of classic design and contemporary features. Unlike the Defender V8 by Works Bespoke, the Churchill Edition is not specified as a limited run.

Meanwhile, the Defender V8 by Works Bespoke, priced at £228,000, is based on pre-owned Defenders from 2012 to 2016. This Restomod Defender features a 5.0-litre V8 engine, producing 399bhp, an eight-speed ZF transmission, and upgraded suspension and brakes to handle the V8's power, similar to last year's Islay model. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 5.6 seconds.

Customers can choose from 16'' Wolf wheels or 18'' Sawtooth, Heritage, Standard or Adventure grilles, and a posh leather interior for their Defender V8 by Works Bespoke. Nick Work, the person behind the company, ensures that every vehicle is lovingly crafted, offering an unique experience in creating the ultimate Classic Defender V8.

Land Rover Classic has also introduced the Classic Land Rover Defender V8 Trophy II, priced at £225,000, and the Classic Land Rover Defender V8 Soft Top, costing from £234,000. The Defender V8 Trophy II is a new 'Expedition' Classic Defender, while the Soft Top model offers an open-air driving experience.

The current Land Rover Defender is selling well and has a huge waiting list, reflecting the enduring appeal of this iconic vehicle. Land Rover Classic Director, Paul Barrit, states that clients can create their perfect Classic Defender V8, with creativity the only limit for personalization.

In addition to these, Land Rover Classic is offering the Land Rover Defender Churchill Edition, a more modern recreation of the Series I, priced at £279,000. This edition is not equipped with the specifications mentioned in the Defender V8 by Works Bespoke, suggesting that it may be based on pre-owned Defenders as well.

The Defender 90 is the starting price for the new Defender V8 by Works Bespoke, with the 110 costing more. It is unclear if this Defender is a limited run. The Defender Works V8 Trophy II and Defender Works V8 Islay Edition, both released in previous years, also cost around the same amount.

These new Defender models offer a fascinating blend of tradition and innovation, appealing to both classic car enthusiasts and modern-day adventurers.
