Nigerian Socialite Cubana Chiefpriest Unveils Rare ₦300 Million Patek Philippe Watch
In a recent turn of events, popular Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu Chibuike, better known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has made headlines once again, this time for unveiling a luxurious timepiece worth over ₦300 million. The watch in question is a Patek Philippe model, a brand renowned for its exclusivity and high-end craftsmanship.
The specific model Cubana Chiefpriest has acquired is the Cubitus, a timepiece that, according to him, is owned by only three Nigerians. Alongside the socialite, the other reported owners are President Bola Tinubu and music star Davido.
Cubana Chiefpriest, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and public appeals, has taken to social media to share images of his new acquisition. He joked about the watch, suggesting it should be placed in a museum, given its rarity.
In an interesting twist, Cubana Chiefpriest proposed setting up a WhatsApp group for the three owners, each of whom reportedly owns a different variant of the watch. He uniquely identified himself and President Tinubu in the group suggestion, referring to himself as "Cp" and the president as "Asiwaju."
The Patek Philippe Cubitus is priced at approximately £151,286, which translates to more than a quarter of a billion naira. Cubana Chiefpriest emphasised that the rarity of the watch is not about its price, but where it can be obtained.
Despite his lavish lifestyle, Cubana Chiefpriest has been embroiled in various controversies, including allegations of drug dealing, visa denial, and neglecting his family. He has also been in the news for personal incidents such as falling into the ocean with his son during a boat ride.
As the socialite continues to make waves in the Nigerian social scene, his latest acquisition is sure to stir up more conversation and speculation. Whether it's his extravagant lifestyle or his controversial past, Cubana Chiefpriest remains a figure of interest in Nigerian popular culture.
