Mahindra's XUV700 undergoes design upgrades as it's spotted during testing in 2026
The Indian automobile manufacturer, Mahindra, is gearing up for the launch of the facelifted version of its popular SUV, the XUV700. Set to arrive by early 2026, the updated model promises a host of exciting features and improvements, focusing on cabin technology and subtle design updates.
At the heart of the facelift is a revised emphasis on digital, connected, and comfort-led features. The dashboard of the updated vehicle will transition to a three-screen layout, providing a sleek and modern look. Auto-dimming mirrors could be a new feature in the vehicle, enhancing visibility during night-time driving. In terms of powertrains, the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines will continue in the facelift, ensuring the vehicle's performance remains robust and reliable. All-wheel drive will be offered on select trims, providing added traction and control in various driving conditions.
Manual and automatic gearbox options will be available, catering to the preferences of a wide range of customers. The steering wheel is redesigned, offering a more comfortable grip and improved control.

The automotive engineer who developed the revised version of the Mahindra XUV700 is Vivek Srivatsa. It is rumoured that Harman Kardon might replace the Sony audio system in the vehicle, promising an enhanced audio experience for passengers.
