Man vandalized and stole a farm vehicle without permission, resulting in a jail term.

At the beginning of last year, a 31-year-old chef from Kamchatka found himself in a difficult situation. The incident took place in the Milkovsky District, where he was working as a chef at a logging site.

The chef was driving the employer's car, a Toyota Land Cruiser, without permission. His unauthorized drive was destined for the village of Atlasovo, but the journey took an unfortunate turn.

While on the road, the chef swerved to avoid an overtaking truck, leading to a tragic accident. The car crashed into some trees, causing significant damage estimated at nearly 1.8 million rubles.

After the accident, the chef abandoned the damaged vehicle and later returned the keys to the owner. Fortunately, the sentence did not include immediate imprisonment. Instead, the Milkovsky District Court sentenced the chef to a penalty of suspended imprisonment.

The sentence includes a probation period of 3.5 years following the initial 3-year probation. The specific duration for the suspended imprisonment was not mentioned.

Following the accident, the chef voluntarily surrendered to the police. He was not imprisoned but was sentenced to three years of probation.

Despite the unfortunate incident, it's worth noting that search results do not provide information about the leader of the logging company where the chef worked.

This news serves as a reminder to always drive responsibly and respect the rules of the road, especially when using someone else's vehicle.
