In the icy expanses of the Oymyakonsky District in Yakutia, a search party has been deployed to find a missing man who disappeared on August 30 during field work. The man, born in 1962, has not been seen or heard from since his last communication on that day.

The Emergency Rescue Service of Yakutia was informed about the man's disappearance on September 2. According to the reports, the man informed his colleagues on August 30 that his all-terrain vehicle had broken down, and he was unable to repair it.

For three days, the man's satellite phone showed that he remained in the same location. However, no contact was established, and concerns grew for his safety.

In a separate incident, a boat capsized in the Middle Kolyma District, as reported by Sakhapress from the Emergency Rescue Service of Yakutia. The details of this incident are still unofficial and require confirmation.

Today, a search party consisting of three people set out to find the missing man in specialized vehicles. The search party includes a driver, a medic, and the EDS chief. The hope is that they will be able to locate the missing man and bring him safely back to his family and friends.

Meanwhile, it is reported that one person from the boat incident in the Middle Kolyma District has died. The other person from the boat incident is said to have reached the shore.

The name of the missing man in the Oymyakonsky District is not publicly disclosed, and the community holds its breath, hoping for good news. The search continues, and the resilience of the people in these harsh climates is once again tested.
