The Manitoba RCMP is urgently seeking the public's assistance in locating Ferlin Bone, a 32-year-old suspect wanted for second-degree murder. An arrest warrant has been issued for Bone in connection with a homicide that occurred on Waywayseecappo First Nation over the weekend.

According to the RCMP, the incident took place on Saturday around 6:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the man died from his injuries at the hospital.

The Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) initially responded to the shooting, but the investigation was later handed over to the Manitoba RCMP. The MFNPS continues to work closely with the RCMP in the ongoing investigation.

The RCMP believes that the incident was targeted and that Bone, who is known to the victim, left the scene of the crime in a red SUV. The red SUV was later found abandoned outside Waywayseecappo.

Bone is currently at large, and the RCMP is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. Calls can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or to the MFNPS at 204-859-5070.

The RCMP urges anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact them. Every piece of information can help in solving this tragic case and bringing justice for the victim and their family.

The RCMP continues to investigate the homicide, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available. The public is reminded to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
