Marketing Success Story: The Launch of Changelly and Tangem's Web3 Promotion Campaign Revealed

Changelly and Tangem teamed up for a 21-day campaign in February 2024, aiming to engage the community and increase user interaction. The campaign, aptly named "Swap with Love," was meticulously divided into strategic phases to maximise impact.

The campaign was promoted through various channels, including Tier 1 media outlets, email blasts, social media posts, banner ads, and even influencer posts across YouTube, Telegram, and X, yielding a total of 350K impressions. Cross-promotion between Changelly and Tangem's platforms helped reach a broader audience, contributing to a total reach of 1.18 million people.

On Day 1, Changelly focused on community engagement, teasing the campaign on social media and email newsletters. To further entice the community, a special quiz was run on X (formerly Twitter) with a giveaway of three Tangem wallets.

During Days 2-13, education was emphasized, with a detailed review published on Changelly's blog and explanations provided by Tangem about the campaign and how to swap crypto using Changelly. This educational approach paid off, as the zero-fee week, which commenced on Day 14, saw a significant increase in activity. During this period, 6,590 crypto swap transactions were made, and banner-to-swap conversions doubled compared to previous campaigns.

The peak of the campaign was on Valentine's Day, when a one-week zero-fee swap campaign was introduced. Posts on official social media accounts and partner placements contributed 75K and 750K impressions respectively.

The positive feedback and high engagement levels indicated that the community found the approach resonated with them. Both Helga Kiniova, Changelly's Partnership Lead, and Daria Bystrova, Tangem's Marketing Project Manager, praised the success of the campaign and the collaboration between the two companies. Tangem reported that the campaign was a success and helped them reach new highs.

To maintain momentum, long-term engagement initiatives were implemented, including an AMA on X Spaces, giveaways on Telegram and X, and incentive-driven activities.

The "Swap with Love" campaign was a testament to the power of collaboration and the desire for a seamless, engaging user experience in the crypto space. With its successful execution, both Changelly and Tangem have set a high bar for future campaigns.
